After sectt employees union’s intervention, Achal Sethi joins as Secy Assembly

Srinagar: The six days stalemate over the appointment of new secretary assembly ended with the intervention of president secretariat employees union Ghulam Rasool after which Achal Sethi given the additional charge as secretary assembly.
Quoting sources local news gathering agency KNS reported that on the intervention of president Secretariat employees union Ghulam Rasool, the government assured the employees that promotions of the employees including the top officials of the assembly secretariat would be ordered within a week’s time. After the assurance from the government through president secretariat employees union Achal Sethi joined to hold the additional charge as secretary assembly till the appointment of a suitable officer as secretary assembly on regular basis.
It may be mentioned here that employees of assembly secretariat were demanding the appointment of senior most officer from within the assembly secretariat as secretary assembly and staged massive demonstrations outside the assembly building for six consecutive days.
