Kargil: In a significant decision, the LAHDC, Kargil has decided to to install energy metres for Central Heating in hospitals.
In this regard, tenders have been issued for providing and fitting of flow metres for various Central Heating Systems at District Hospital Kargil, Sub District Hospital Drass and Zanskar as well as Community Health Center Sankoo said Executive Councillor for Health Zakir Hussain here Wednesday. He said the flow metres will prove instrumental in proper regulation of the heating system in the health institutions in the district during the winter season.
The EC further said the new system with innovative tools once put in place will also help in recording precise and exact measurements and fuel consumption on the Central Heating System regardless of weather conditions.
