10-day marketing exhibition organized by SC, ST Corp concludes

Jammu: The ten-day marketing exhibition organized by Jammu & Kashmir Scheduled Castes (SC), Scheduled Tribes (ST) and Backward Classes (BC) Development Corporation Limited on the directions of Secretary Social Welfare Dr. Farooq Ahmad Lone concluded here Wednesday.
The SC, ST Corp organized the exhibition in collaboration with National Minorities Finance & Development Corporation (NMDFC), New Delhi, and Union Ministry of Minority Affairs at Kala Kendra, Jammu.
During the exhibition, Dr Lone inspected all the stalls set-up by the beneficiaries of the Corporation who came from all over the State to display and sale of their products made by them with the loan assistance provided by the Corporation.
The Secretary expressed satisfaction over the initiatives taken by the Managing Director SC, ST Corp for organizing such a marketing exhibition for providing a platform to its beneficiaries to display their products.
Around 54 beneficiaries participated in the exhibition and displayed their products approximately costing of Rs 1.20 crore and did a business of around Rs 41, 90,450.
