Srinagar: A labourer died after falling from a transmission tower in Kulan area of Kangan in central Kashmir’s Ganderbal district on Tuesday.
An official said that Mohammad Iqbal Theekry (47) of Kulan, Gund, was critically injured after he fell from a transmission tower of an under construction 220KV Srinagar -Leh transmission line on Monday. The official said the injured labourer was rushed to SKIMS Soura where he succumbed. Police have taken cognizance of the case.
