Ang: Khadi and Village Industries Board (KVIB) Anantnag, Monday organised first ever National Vendor Development Awareness Program under National Schedule Cast amd Schedule Tribe Hub (NSSH) scheme for the Micro Small amd Medium Enterprises (MSMES) at Dak Bungalow Anantnag, which was attended by large number of ST people of Kokernag, Shangus, Qazigundand Pahalgam areas besides other stakeholders.
The Chief Executive Officer KVIB Anantnag, Masroor Ahmad informed about the various schemes and stressed upon the participants to avail the benefits of centrally sponsored and state scheme implemented in J&K in KVIB.
He further added about the main objectives of the NSSH is to promote entrepreneurship amongst marginalised community i,e schedule caste and schedule tribe by developing a supportive ecosystem for SCST Entrepreneurs and to provide professional support in fulfilling the mandate for 4% procurement. He also said under NSSH working with states as well as other organisations for SCST Entrepreneurs can be provided loan facility in order establish small industrial units for SCST on 35% subsidy.
Giving details about the scheme, the Deputy CEO, KVIB, KD said NSSH is an initiative of Government of India to develop the ecosystem and to focus on economic growth of SCST micro-small and medium enterprises program.
