FCR reviews progress on digitization of land records in Kishtwar

Kishtwar: Financial Commissioner Revenue (FCR) Dr. Pawan Kotwal Thursday chaired a meeting with Revenue Officers at Kishtwar to review the progress on the digitization of land records and other related works in the district.
He directed the officers to ensure the early completion of the scanning of the legacy data and its quality check under DILRMP Project being executed by M/S RamTech Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd. for which the date of completion has been fixed as 15th June 2019.
He directed the concerned to augment and facilitate in providing the required infrastructural facilities in record room for speeding up of the scanning work on war footing. He directed to ensure that quality check and scrutiny of documents be made while scanning the documents.
He further directed to complete the pending Jamabandhi work on priority.
In order to avoid future disputes and litigations related with the land acquisition cases, he advised the officers to remain extra cautious and circumspect while dealing with land compensation cases.
He enjoined upon the officers that there must not be any variation in Khasra Pamaiysh/ field book and the details of land area mentioned in the notification issued under Section 4 of the J&K Land Acquisition Act.
At the outset, Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Angrez Singh Rana d briefed the FCR about the District profile through power point presentation.
He further apprised the chair about progress achieved in the scanning of land revenue records, status with regard to the completion of jamabandies, girdawaris, attestation of mutations viz removal of encroachment in state land and the latest status of the land acquisition cases besides the details of the vacant position of Revenue Officers/ Officials.
Regional Director Survey and Land Records Doda Mohammad Hanief Malik, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Kishtwar Pawan Kumar Parihar, Assistant Commissioner Revenue Kishtwar, SDM, Marwah, Padder and Chatroo, Tehsildars, Naib Tehsildars and Dr. Rana K Singh Senior Manager M/S Ramtech Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd J&K, service providers of DILRMP attended the meeting.
