Srinagar: Additional Director General of Police Armed J&K A.K. Choudhary-IPS orders promotion of 609 officers and officials of J&K Armed Police after the Departmental Promotion Committees headed by him found them fit for the promotion.
As per three different orders issued by ADGP Armed J&K, 101 Assistant Sub Inspectors (ASIs) have been promoted to the rank of Sub Inspectors (SIs), 179 Head Constables have been promoted to the rank of ASIs and 329 Sg. Constables have been promoted to the rank of Head Constables in J&K Armed Police.
ADGP Armed J&K A.K. Choudhary-IPS, his staff Officer SSP Shri Mehmood Ahmed, CPO APHQ Mohd Shafi Rather and DySP Personnel APHQ Mushtaq Ahmad Wani have congratulated the promoted officers and expressed their best wishes to the officials and their families on this occasion.
