Uri, Dec 23: The bodies of seven labourers killed in a landslide in Uttarakhand were flown in an army helicopter to Uri in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
As the bodies were taken out from the helicopter, the top officials of the district administration were present on the spot to personally supervise the process of handing over the bodies to the relatives of the deceased. Relatives of the deceased were seen wailing over the death of their family men but a large number of people gathered there were seen consoling the members of the bereaved families. Heartrending scenes of mourning were witnessed as people were in tears and women were seen in beating their chests while mourning the death of the deceased.
As already reported eight labourers of Uri Baramulla were hit to death in a landslide in Uttarakhand last Friday.
