Srinagar: The mother of senior journalist and Editor-in-Chief of Daily Uqab, Manzoor Anjum has passed away on Friday morning at her residence in Gulshan Colony Aalochi Bagh Srinagar.

Family sources said that Misra Bano was unwell from a very long time and breathed her last at her residence around 8: 30 on Friday morning.

A large number of people participated in the funeral of deceased that was offered at Alochi Bagh after Friday congregational prayers.

English Daily The Kashmir Horizon, Kashmir Press Club (KPC), KVJA, JK Editors Forum, expressed condolences with the senior journalist and Editor-in-Chief of Daily Uqab, on the demise of his mother. They prayed for peace to the departed soul.
