Jammu: Under Khelo-India-Sports for peace and development, Kartar Football Club defeated GHSS Nud in Inter-Block football final here at sports Stadium Samba.
Project Officer, Wage Employment (ACD) Samba, Mudassir Latif Tasir, who was the chief guest on the occasion, interacted with the players of the match and exhorted upon them to play with true sportsmanship. He informed that after completion of these District Level Khelo India Games, a grand Closing Ceremony shall be organised in Samba.
Later, ACD distributed prizes and trophies among the winners and consolation prizes to runner-ups.
In Wednesday’s final Football Match of under 20 years category, best performers from Kartar FC were Nikhil Sambyal, Ujjwal Sambyal and Mohit Sambyal and Vishal Chib, Aditiya Chowdhary from GHSS NUD.
The matches of Khelo India were officiated by Kranti Khajuria, Keshav Dev Singh, Bhopinder Singh, Subhash Sharma, Avtar Singh, Aman Sambyal, Sumant Singh, Arjun Kumar, Rajesh Charak, Daljeet Singh, Muneer Hussain, Karamat Ali and Rakesh Sharma, while Zorawar Singh was field reporter.
