Sopore/Dec,14: A complete shutdown for the second consecutive day on Friday against the killing of two militants in Brath Kalan village Thursday this week hit normal life in entire Sopore area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
As already reported Owais Ahmad Bhat alias Abu Bakar of Gund Brath and Tahir Ramzan Dar alias Abu Abdullah of Saidpora were killed in an overnight gunfight with the government forces in Brath Kalan Thursday this week.
All the shops and other business establishments are closed in Sopore town while the passenger traffic was off the roads.
Meanwhile, locals including men and women were seen visiting the families of the slain militants to offer condolences.
Class work remained suspended in all educational institutions in Sopore sub division as per an order issued by the additional district magistrate Sopore last night.
