Srinagar: The left out students from Political Science stream Thursday appealed Kashmir University authorities to start evening classes for them so that their precious one year doesn’t not get waste.
Kashmir University has already started second shift for the students of Law, History and Urdu. The students from Political Science demanded the classes on same pattern. “When authorities at Kashmir University can start second shift for these students, why can’t it start such classes for us,” they said.
“A student has to spend the same amount of time he or she spends in the first shift. The second shift starts at 2 or 3 pm that ends before darkness. The University also provide transport facilities to these students. We request Kashmir University Vice Chancellor to save our precious time and start second shift for us,” the students said.
They said that in absence of second shift for the political science students, the students are taking admissions in outside state Universities. “There are other students that can’t afford admissions in outside Universities,” the students said.
