Srinagar, Dec 13: Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) leader and former IGP Crime Raja Aijaz Ali will likely quit PDP today. He will be the fifth PDP leader to quit the party in last few days.
Sources disclosed to KNS that Raja Aijaz Ali during his meeting with his followers took the decision and is likely to hold a press conference later in the day to formally announce his quitting.
Raja Aijaz Ali fought the last assembly elections but was defeated by NC candidate Mohammad Shafi Uri. He stood next to Congress candidate Taj Mohi-Ud-Din who was the nearest rival of NC’s Mohammad Shafi in Uri assembly constituency.
