Ganderbal: The 10-day training program organized under Prime Minister Employment Generation Program (PMEGP) by J&K Bank Rural Self-Employment Training Institute (RSETI) Ganderbal concluded here Wednesday.
Around 30 unemployed youth from various areas of the district including Wangat, Chunt Waliwar, Gotli Bagh and Gund participated in the training program. Additional District Development Commissioner, N.A Baba was the Chief Guest on the occasion.
The ADDC asked the trained entrepreneurs to take full advantage of the training programs and set up their business units.
Director RSETI Manzoor Hamdani highlighted the role of RSETI in imparting training to the youth in various trades. He further said the institutes shall continue to play a pivotal role in creating self-employment culture among the unemployed youth.
On the occasion, the ADDC gave away certificates to the outgoing batch on successful completion of the training.
Riyaz Ahmad, District Co-ordinator KVIC, Misha Musharraf, District Officer KVIB, Kaiser Tantray, Branch Head, BU Ganderbal and host of other officers of various concerned departments attended the function.
