Jammu: Consequent upon his appointment as Member Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Advisor to Governor B B Vyas on Wednesday tendered his resignation to Governor Satya Pal Malik. And Governor accepted his resignation immediately.
A notification issued by the General Administration Department (GAD) said: “The Hon’ble Governor has been pleased to accept the resignation of Shri BB Vyas IAS (Retd) as advisor to the Governor with effect from December 12, 2018.”
Vyas a household name is Jammu and Kashmir served the state on key positions with distinction and is the only J&K cadre IAS officer to be appointed as Member of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
