Hajin: Thousands of people participated in the last rites of two young slain militants in Hajin town of North Kashmir’s Bandipora district.
Besides, Ali Bhai from Pakistan, two minor militants from Hajin Mudasir Rasheed Parrey (14) and Sakib Bilal (17) were killed in a gun battle at Mujhgund area in Srinagar outskirts.
Police had handed over the bodies of these two militants to their respective families on Sunday evening. Number of mourners visited the families and spent time in Hajin. Both the militants were laid to rest amid pro-freedom slogans at Martyrs Grave Yard Hajin.
Shortly, after the funeral prayers, youth took to streets and clashed with deployed forces personnel. Forces personnel used tear-smoke shells and even fired some rounds in air to disperse the angry youth.
