Jammu: State Administrative Council (SAC) met in Jamm u under the chairmanship of Governor Satya Pal Malik and took several decisions.
Top sources said that though proposed amendments in the juvenile act were dropped at the last minute but the state administrative council ordered some amendments of far reaching consequences in the civil procedure code to bring it at par with the law already in force in rest of the country. No details about the SAC decision taken on December were available on GAD website till mid-night.
It is in place to mention here that General Administration Department (GAD) comes under the direct control of Chief Secretary BVR Subramanyam.
