DDC Shopian flagged off students exchange tour prog

Shopian: District Development Commissioner Shopian Dr Owais Ahmed Saturday flagged off the first batch of 50 students and 5 Escort teachers for educational tour outside State being held under students exchange programme to enhance the exposure of students and to promote culture exchange and exchange of ideas as well.
Tour programme has been organised by Education Department Shopian under students exchange programme. The Students will visit Bengaluru of Karnataka state for ten days tour.
On the occasion, the DDC while interacting with the touring students advised them to avail the opportunity by taking best out of this tour by visiting places of historical importance and other places of interest. He said that such occasion will provide them with a new experience and also give them vast exposure to become more confident and attain knowledge about the visiting places.
Among others the occasion was attend by Chief Education Officer Shopian Mohammad Sadiq, Cluster coordinator Khursheed Ahmad, officials of education department and other concerned.
