Jammu: A deputation of Dogra Sadar Sabha led by Gulchain Singh Charak Thursday called on the Advisor to the Governor B.B Vyas and raised several issues related to Numberdars, Ex-serviceman and restoration of Mubarak Mandi Complex.
The deputation called for increasing the remuneration of numberdars, amending SRO-363, issuance of identity cards to numerdars, Special irrigation Scheme for the benefit of the Kandi area farmers, drinking water facilities through bore-well in Marhial area villages and formulation of Agricultural policy for the benefit of the farmers
The deputation also raised issues related to Ex-Servicemen of the state and called for taking remedial measures.
The fast pacing of work on the restoration of Mubarak Mandi Heritage Complex was also raised by the deputation.
The Advisor, while interacting with the deputation, assured them that the issues raised by would be looked into seriously.
