DDC reviews capacity building of aspirational distt Kupwara through Skill Dev

Kupwara: The District Development Commissioner Kupwara, Khalid Jahangir Friday convened a meeting of officers of various departments for capacity building under Aspirational District through Skill Development Program under Skills Acquisition and Knowledge Awareness for Livelihood Promotion (SANKALP) Project for finalizing of Skill Development Plan.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Commissioner Revenue, JD Planning, Chief Agriculture Officer, Chief Horticulture Officer, AD Fisheries, District Sheep Husbandry Officer, officers and representatives of RSETI Kupwara, KVIB, JKEDI, Industries, ITI and other concerned.
The meeting discussed threadbare various issues related to capacity building Aspirational District through skill development program under SANKALP Project during which the participants shared their views.
The DDC on the occasion directed the officers to conduct awareness programs so that the people are made aware about the welfare and development schemes run by various departments. He also stressed for organising training camps under skill development program across the district. The DDC said the need of the hour is to inspire educated unemployed youth towards self employment schemes to make the district economically strong.
