Jammu: Pramod Jain, Chairperson of Jammu and Kashmir State Water Resources Regulatory Authority met Governor Satya Pal Malik at the Raj Bhavan here Thursday.
Jain apprised Governor about the steps taken by the Authority for the efficient management of the water resources of the State.
Governor stressed the need for ensuring judicious, equitable and sustainable management, allocation and utilization of water resources and the need to generate public awareness in this regard.
