JRL calls for Kashmir shutdown against 17 killings in 3 days

Srinagar/Nov, 25 :Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) on Sunday  called for shutdown across Kashmir on Monday against the killings of seventeen persons in past three days.

In a statement, JRL comprising Syed Ali Geelani, Mirwaiz Umar Farooq and Muhammad Yasin Malik called called for complete shutdown on 26th Novemeber Monday to “strongly protest and denounce the killing of 17 Kashmiris by Indian forces’ brutal action in the last 3 days.”

The call was issued on Sunday after  the killings of six militants and a civilian in a gunfight and clashes in south Kashmir’s Shopian Sunday morning.
