Jammu: On the directions of Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Additional Commissioner Rahul Sharma today convened a meeting with Deputy Commissioners of Jammu division to discuss land issues for construction of court complexes in various districts of the division.
DC Ramban apprised the meeting that final awards of land for Munsif court complex has been issued. DC Poonch informed that site selection has been done for Surankot court complex and the revenue papers have been forwarded for approval. DC Rajouri informed that land measuring 75 kanal and 17 marlas has been identified and the draft award has been forwarded for approval. DC Doda informed that 23 kanal land has been acquired for construction of court complex.
Additional Commissioner asked DCs to resolve land issues and transfer the land in favour of the judiciary for construction of court complexes in their respective districts.
Among others, the meeting was attended by Managing Director Housing Board Raj Kumar, SEs and Exens of PWD and other concerned.
