Srinagar: Paying glorious tributes to 6 martyrs in a fierce gun battle, in Bijbihara Islamabad, All Parties Hurriyat Conference chairman, Syed Ali Geelani said that barbarism and brutality of India has crossed all the limits, pushing the youth to the extreme and then legalizing their killings.
He said that for the last 71 years we have seen only the brutal face of India, lived a life of uncertainty, chaos and harassment, have only shouldered the coffins of our dear ones, suffered only death and destruction all around. This gloomy situation has forced our highly qualified and professionals to fight back and pay the oppressor in the same coin. They prefer to be a rebellion than to live a life of slavery.
Hurriyat chairman said that pro-freedom people will always miss the sharp, focused and fertile brains as these shining diamonds and their unparalleled commitment is a great treasure of any nation particularly oppressed and suppressed like us. We are unfortunate that we lose them so early as their un-dented dedication and visionary intellect would help to streamlined our movement, he said.
He said that our generation next is fully conscious of the hazards and ill effects of slavery and they are on the forefront of the struggle to liberate their land.
He further said that commitment and un-parallel sacrifices of our youth put a huge obligation and responsibility on, not only leaders but common people as well, not to even think of any compromise or betrayal.
He said that election drama and its multi faced actors pretend to be our saviors to fetch them votes in the name of basic necessities, but in reality they are the people who strengthen the unholy bond of slavery, so nation as a whole should desist from any support to them.
He appealed the youth to strictly follow the glorious path of Quran and Sunnah, have unity and discipline, not fall prey to sectarian conflicts and honestly and sincerely contribute to the ongoing movement in whatever way they can.
