Jammu: Two army soldiers were wounded after the armies of India and Pakistan traded heavy fire and shelling along the Line of Control (LoC) in twin districts of Rajouri and Poonch in Jammu and Kashmir on Tuesday.
As per reports, an army soldier was injured in a sniper fire from across the LoC in Lam area of Rajouri. “He was shifted to a hospital for treatment,” said a source. Another army soldier was injured in cross-border shelling on LoC in Poonch district. Heavy exchange of fire took place in the area Tuesday morning.
