Shopian: The security personnel guarding the house of Bhartiya Janata Party leader foiled an attempt from militants to barge into the house in South Kashmir’s Shopian district.
Sources said that a group of militants tried to barge into the residence of BJP district president Javaid Qadri, however, the security guards guarding the house of Qadri fired couple of rounds in air to foil the militants bid. Qadri according to sources was not present in the house at the time of incident. A police official said that they are investigating the matter.
