Srinagar: Police on Friday said that it recovered the bullet riddled body of a youth abducted from Shopian district in the adjoining Pulwama district.
A police spokesman said the bullet riddled body of Nadeem Manzoor was recovered from Nikloora village of Pulwama disitrict during the pre-dawn hours on Friday.
He said that Manzoor was abducted by the militants from his native village of Safanagri, Shopian Thursday evening.
“A case has been registered in this regard under relevant sections of law and investigation initiated,” said a police statement on Friday.
