Srinagar: Former Pakistan cricketer Shahid Khan Afridi has asked India and Pakistan to leave Kashmir “for the sake of humanity” and let Kashmir be independent.
The maverick all-rounder while addressing students at British Parliament once again talked about the Kashmir issue,“I am saying Pakistan does not want Kashmir, don’t even give Kashmir to India. Let them be independent. Humanity is big thing. Humans are being killed there (Kashmir). It hurts to see humans being killed irrespective of their religion,” Afridi said.
Afridi who enjoys a huge fan base across the world further said Pakistan is already struggling to manage its four provinces.
Earlier this year, the former Pakistan cricket team skipper had slammed India on its policy in Kashmir.
“Innocents being shot down by oppressive regime to clamp voice of self determination & independence,” Afridi had tweeted.
