PC’s Junaid Matoo elected Mayor SMC

Srinagar, Nov 06: Peoples Conference candidate for the election of Mayor Srinagar Municipal Corporation Junaid Azim Matoo has been declared elected.
Official sources told Kashmir News Service (KNS) Peoples Conference candidate for Mayor Srinagar Municipal Corporation Junaid Azim Matoo bagged 40 votes against 26 polled by his rival Gh Rasool Hajam of the Congress party. Four votes were found invalid. For the first time Peoples Conference has bagged the post of Mayor Srinagar Municipal Corporation.
