Panchayat polls 2018: ROs, AROs appointed for Block Lar

Ganderbal : In order to ensure smooth conduct of Panchayat elections in block Lar of the District Ganderbal, the District Panchayat Election Officer, Ganderbal, Dr. Piyush Singla, has appointed 05 Returning Officers (ROs) and 23 Assistant Returning Officers (AROs) with the issuance of notification for sixth phase by Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) for the conduct of Panchayat Elections 2018.
Pertinently, date of polling (wherever necessary) for Panchayat Halqas of Block Lar, to elect the Sarpanches and Panches is on December 01, 2018, Issuance of Gazette Notification is November 06, 2018, last date of making Nominations is November 13, 2018, date of scrutiny is November 14, 2018 and last date of making withdrawal is November 16, 2018.
Nomination papers can be obtained free of cost from the concerned ROs/AROs and Assistant Returning Officer Headquarter, besides duly filled nomination papers shall have to be submitted in the office of concerned ROs/AROs or Assistant Returning Officer Headquarter. The ARO Headquarter is Ali Mohammad, Assistant Director Food, Civil Supplies and Consumer Affairs Ganderbal, Room no 131, Mini Secretariat Ganderbal.
Syed Inayat Hussain, Gh Nabi Shah, Manzoor Ahmad Samoon, Mehraj Din Bhat and Imtiyaz Ahmad Khan are appointed as Returning Officers. Besides, Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh, Syed Mubashir Shafi, Farooq Ahmad Rather, Mehboob Ahmad Khan, Fazil Ahmad Wani, Basharat Rehman, Zaffar Ahmad Peer, Ghulam Hassan Magray, Tahir Javeed Hamdani, Uzair Bashir, Ishfaq Ahmad Sofi, Mohammad Ashraf Najar, Shahnawaz Ahmad Sheikh, Farooq Ahmad Magray, Mohammad Ayoub Sheikh, Ab. Majeed Rather, Syed Ahmad Shah, Muzaffar Ahmad Bhat, Mohd. Jameel Kasana, Mirza Waseen Hussain, Mudasir Ahmad Sheikh, Zubair Ahmad Bijran and Mohd Shafi Rather are appointed as Assistant Returning Officers.
Pertinently, First and Second phase of polling will be held at Block Gund and Kangan on November 17 and 20, 2018 respectively for which notification is already issued.
