Srinagar : The J&K Board of School Education (BOSE) has changed the exam timings for class 10th and 12th students for the papers scheduled from November 5 onwards.
The decision has been taken in view of the complaints received from the students about the “improper” timing of the Joint secretary examination in JKBOSE Syed Rouf said the exams of class 10th and 12th students will be held at 1:30 pm instead of 2pm as notified earlier by JKBOSE.
“Now the exams for class 10th and 12th students will start from 1:30 pm but there will be no change in exam timing for class 11th students,” he said. Reports said mourners got angry and heckled Singh after he tried to address media after the cremation ceremony.
They, as per reports, alleged that the minister was playing politics “even at cremation ceremony”. The mourners also raised slogans against Singh.
Sensing trouble, personal security officers of the minister immediately whisked him away.
When contacted, DDC Kishtwar Angrez Singh Rana while denying the incident said: “Although the people present there were angry as their sentiments got badly hurt but the story of Minister being heckled is totaly fabricated as the cremation was carried out smoothly and Minister left Kishtwar as per schedule.”
