DSEK visits exam centres in Kulgam

Kulgam : Director School Education Kashmir Wednesday paid a surprise visit to various examination centres in Kulgam where Higher Secondary Part II Annual 2018 exams are going on.
During the surprise inspection, he interacted with the students and the supervisory staff besides reviewing the arrangements. He expressed his dissatisfaction over the improper lighting arrangements in examination centres and directed the concerned authorities to put in place proper arrangements.
Meanwhile, Department of Education Wednesday organized a function here to bid an affectionate farewell to Chief Education Officer Kulgam Ashok Kumar Sanyal on his superannuation.
Director School Education said, that years of dedicated service of A K Sanyal in the education department and his contribution will be remembered for long times. He wished the retiring officer a prosperous post-retirement life.
Services of the retiring officer which he rendered for the Department were highly appreciated on the occasion.
On the occasion, Sanyal was presented a bouquet and a shawl as a token of appreciation to his services for the Department.
