Feroz Khan inaugurates farmers training camp at Gargardoo

Kargil : Chairman and Chief Executive Councillor (CEC), Ladakh Autonomous Hill Development Council (LAHDC), Kargil Saturday inaugurated One Day Farmers Training Camp at village Gargardoo in Batalik area. The Camp was organized by the Department of Horticulture, Kargil in which hundreds of farmers participated.
Speaking on the occasion, the CEC asked the farmers to avail benefits of all Centrally Sponsored Schemes like ATMA. He advised the farmers to adopt the improved Horticulture Practices and Technological Interventions which will help in increasing their income. He also asked the concerned to hold similar camps in other parts of the district especially in far-flung areas.
During the camp, the Technical officers of the Horticulture Department sanitized farmers about the latest techniques and technical know-how about the horticulture advances.
Chief Horticulture Officer, Kargil, and other concerned officers were also present in the Camp.
