Srinagar, Oct 22: A complete shutdown has against killing of civilians in Laroo village of south Kashmir’s Kulgam district has hit normal life across Kashmir. Shops, business establishments, schools, colleges and universities are closed, passenger transport is off the roads and streets wore a deserted look. Heavy contingents of police and paramilitaries are guarding the deserted streets in uptown Srinagar, old parts of Srinagar city and major towns of Kashmir valley. Train services have been suspended for the day and examinations scheduled to be conducted by Jammu and Kashmir board of school education and universities including Kashmir University have been postponed. In all the four districts of south Kashmir the mobile internet services are suspended for the second consecutive day.
