Srinagar: A lineman of the Power Development Department (PDD) died of electrocution in Zogoo village of Khansahab in central Kashmir’s Budgam district on Thursday.
A police officer said Bashir Ahmad Khan son of Gul Mohd Khan of Zogoo Kharian received an electric shock while repairing an electric transformer in Bhat Mohalla area of Zogoo Thursday afternoon Khan was seriously injured due to electric shock, said the officer. He was immediately taken to nearby hospital where doctors declared him dead on arrival, said the officer.
