Srinagar/Oct, 18: A complete shutdown called by Joint Resistance Leadership (JRL) comprising Syed Ali Shah Geelani the Hurriyat Conference (G) Chairman, Mirwaiz Molvi Umar Farooq the Hurriyat Conference (M) Chairman and Mohammad Yasin Malik the JKLF Chairman and restrictions imposed by law enforcing hit normal life on Thursday across Kashmir.
Law enforcing authorities have imposed restriction in several old city parts restrictions to prevent protests against the killing of two militants and the owner of a house owner during a gunfight in Fateh Kadal on Wednesday this week. All shops and other business establishments are closed in Srinagar while public transport is off the roads.
Reports of shutdown have also been received from other parts of Kashmir valley. Mobile internet services have not been restored yet and the train services too were suspended.
