Srinagar, Oct 16: One feet snow on Sadhna top on Karnah-Kupwara road and few inches of snow on Bandipora-Gurez road has disconnected the snow hit areas in north Kashmir districts.
According to the KNS correspondent, one feet snow in Karnah area has shut Karnah-Kupwara road and life has come to a grinding halt in Karnah area of Kupwara district. Schools and offices are closed and power and water facilities have been disrupted. Few inches of snow have also been witnessed in Gurez and Dawar areas of Bandipora district and Bandipora-Gurez road has been closed for vehicular traffic. Sonamarg area has also received few inches of snowfall and life there also has collapsed after the season’s first snowfall.
