Jammu : Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Sanjeev Verma Saturday convened a meeting with head of oil companies to discuss various initiatives and requirements under CSR.
The meeting was attended by Commissioner JMC, Arvind Kotwal, DD Health Services Jammu, Dr Chander Parkash, Joint Director Youth Services and Sports, Madan Lal, Secretary Red Cross Jammu Region, Dinesh Gupta, Chief Regional Manager LPG HPCL, A A Kachroo, DGM Retail HPCL, Krishan Lal, Senior Manager IOCL, Majid Lone and DCs of Kathua, Udhampur, Ramban, Rajouri, through video conference.
Representatives of Oil companies apprised the Div Com about the works already been done by their concerned companies including construction of toilet complex and providing computers and study materials in various schools in the state.
Apprising Div Com about the action plan for beautification of Jammu, Commissioner JMC informed that they have identified themes for wall paintings in the city and the work is in progress for beautification of Jammu.
Deputy Director Health apprised Div Com about the medical requirements of equipments. He informed that there is need for medical equipments and critical care ambulances in districts.
The Div Com was informed by the concerned about the requirements of buildings for Integrated Child Protection Scheme (ICPS). Later, DCs apprised the Div Com that they have selected locations for developing play fields in their respective districts.
The Div Com asked health department to submit their requirements so as to meet the desired targets. He asked DCs to provide a list of places for developing play grounds and also asked them to submit estimates and action plan.
