Adhere to set guidelines for sports promotion: DC Kargil

Kargil : Deputy Commissioner and CEO, LAHDC, Kargil, Vikas Kundal Friday called for strict adherence to the set guidelines for promoting sports activities in the district.

These instructions were given by the Deputy Commissioner to all the concerned officers during interaction with the Officers of Youth Services and Sports here Friday.

Giving the details of the sports activities carried in the district from October 8th to October India scheme.

The DC impressed upon the officers to encourage youth and students to participate in sports for their overall development. He also asked the concerned to aware the students and youth about the scheme Khelo India so that the maximum players can participate in these events.

12, it was given out that a number of sports events like football, volleyball, Kho-Kho, boxing, handball and other events were held in the district under Khelo
