Inter College Kabbadi Tournament concludes at KU

Srinagar : Inter College Kabbadi Tournament (men) organised by Directorate of Physical Education and Sports University of Kashmir concluded at University ground in which as many as 20 teams of various colleges participated.
The final match of the tournament was played between GDC Pulwama and Islamia College in which Islamia College emerged victorious by 61:55 points. The final match saw a sea saw battle and was played in right spirits. Dr.Nisar Ahmad Khan, Coordinator Directorate of Physical Education and Sports,Nadeem Ahmad, Towseef Ahmad (Assistant Directors ) Physical Education and Sports, Altaf ur Rehman (Islamia College), Faisal Ahmad (GDC Pulwama) distributed prizes among participants.Speaking on the occasion Dr. Nisar Ahmad congratulated both teams and was delighted to see the response of the players during the tournament. He congratulated the officials of the Directorate for conducting the tournament after a long time. For participation in Inter University Kabbadi Tournament Kashmir University team will be shortly deputed, he added. The tournament was organised by Directorate of Physical Education and Sports University of Kashmir.
