Samba : St. Convent School Smailpur Wednesday won volleyball (U17 yr Girls) and Kabaddi (U20, Girls) Block Level competitions for Purmandal/Bari-Brahmana here at Sports Stadium Samba.
A total 139 participants took part in Badminton, Volleyball, Kho-Kho, Kabaddi under different age categories as informed by venue incharge Vijay Singh Salathia, ZPEO, Ramgarh. He said that St. Convent school Smailpur today won volleyball (U17 yr Girls) and Kabaddi (U20,Girls) and HSS Purmandal won Kho-Kho U20 yrs, girl event. In individual events of 100 mtr race Goldu Singh, Amit Kumar, Rajesh Kumar while Atul Khajuria Vishal Singh took the honours in 200 mtr race.
The Chief Guest of the day Jyoti Rani Salathia, programme officer, I.C.D.S, Samba, congratulated and gave commendation to all participants. She said games help in overall development of the personality of the individuals and Block Purmandal/Bari- Brahmana youth should take this prospect for future success.
