Ang: The final match of Cricket tournament organized under Youth Outreach Program by District Cricket Forum Anantnag was played Thursday between Shams ul Haq Bijbehara, and Bijbehara Sports at cricket ground Boys Degree College Anantnag. 130 teams from different parts of the district participated in the tournament.
The Deputy Commissioner Anantnag Mohammad Younis Malik, who was the Chief Guest on the occasion, said Anantnag youth have tremendous talent in sports activities and can achieve heights at national and international levels. He added that district administration will provide every possible support to the youth for different sports activities and adequate infrastructure will be made available for the growth of sports activities in Anantnag.
The ADC Anantnag, Showkat Ahmad Rather, other senior officers from the district administration and Principal Boys Degree College Anantnag were also present on the occasion.
