Srinagar : The Motor Vehicle department has challaned sixty four vehicles and suspended 5 licences for violation of Motor Vehicles Act rules in the past five days.
As per ARTO Kishtwar Abhay Indu Sharma, the offences mainly included overloading, drunk driving, rash driving and offences related to driving licences.
Of these 46 vehicles were challaned, 12 vehicles compounded on the spot and 6 were seized.
