Pulwama/Sept,22: Government forces Saturday morning launched a massive search operation in more than half a dozen villages of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district barely 18 hours after the killing of three policemen Friday this week.
Heavy contingents of Army’s 55RR, 53RR, 23 Para, SOG and CRPF’s 182,183 BN Saturday morning launched cordon and search operation in more than half a dozen villages of this South Kashmir district.
Reports said the forces launched door-to-door searches in Lassipora, Armula, Alaipura, Batnur, Garbug, Naupora Payeen, Hajdarpora and Achan areas of the district.
The search operation has been launched a day after suspected militants killed three militants after abducting them from their homes in adjoining Shopian district.
