Srinagar : An anti-corruption court in Srinagar on Tuesday granted bail to MD Khan former Commissioner Secretary Agriculture who was booked and arrested on charges of tempering his date of birth fifteen days back.
Sources said that though the Crime Branch authorities opposed the grant of bail to MD Khan before the court but the court granted him bail with the direction that he will report for three hours before the Crime Branch authorities every day for next fifteen days.
Meanwhile a top official of the Crime Branch while confirming the grant of bail to MD Khan said that if Khan does not report for three hours every day as per the court directions, the Crime Branch will file an adverse report against Khan before the court on next date of hearing.
