Srinagar : Dozens of livestock were killed on september after lightning struck upper reachs uri sector in north kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Sheeps died on the spot after being struck by lightning in an shepherds house in uri sector .
The live stock belonged to Nazir Ahmad poswal and Mohammad sharief poswal .
Reports said atleast 100 sheeps of two families were killed after the lightning strike in kalgie village, some 10 kilometers away from main town uri, on saturday evening .
Officials said lightning struck a JKPCC hut where the shepherds had kept the livestock after heavy rains in the area.
