Srinagar: People on Friday fished out the body of a minor from Jhelum river in Sopore area of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Friday.
Nine-year-old Rashid Reyaz of Manzseer village had drowned while taking a bath along with his friends in the river at Seer Jagir Wednesday this week.
Police and the locals after continuous searches fished out the body of the minor w from the river at Ladoora Rafiabad Friday morning.
An official said the body was handed over to legal heirs after completion of formalities.
