Jammu : A joint Team of Officers from J&K State Pollution Control Board (SPCB), Divisional Office, Jammu (South) Thursday carried out an anti-polythene drive here in Bishnah area and seized around 27.50 kg of banned polythene material.
The drive was conducted by the team comprised of DO Jammu (South) Er Bader Hussain, Er Arshad Malik, Er Chander Kotwal and Dimple Sharma under the supervision of Regional Director Jammu, Ms Shally Ranjan. The Regional Director asked the traders, shopkeepers and hawkers to avoid storage and sale of banned polythene materials. He also discouraged the use of polythene and allied plastic materials in day to day life.
