Kishtwar : During routine checking of business establishments of Kishtwar and adjoining areas, Legal Metrology Department (LMD) Kishtwar booked 6 traders for violation of labeling norms and less quality in pre-packaged containers.
A composition sum of Rs. 18700 was realized from the offenders as fine with the assurance not to repeat it in future.
The department directed the traders to use only certified weighing and measuring instruments in commercial transactions and refrain from fraudulent trade practices.
