Sopore: A carpenter on Thursday slipped from the roof of a building and died in Shahabad area of Sopore in north Kashmir’s Baramulla district Wednesday evening this week .
Reports said that Muhammad Ashraf Bhat (40), a resident of Dangerpora village, was constructing the roof of a building when he slipped and fell down.
He was shifted to sub-district hospital Sopore in an unconscious state where doctors referred him to a hospital in Srinagar for specialized treatment. However, he succumbed at the Srinagar hospital.
